Domaine Des Moinets

The house was built under Napoleon III around 1850. It was originally a hunters' lodge. The house sits on a hectare of land by the river bank of the Sainte-Marie. Before becoming a bed and breakfast, it was owned by Pierre and Hella Brice. Pierre was a famous French actor, known in particular for his role as Winnetou in the 1980s German TV show.

Before his fruitful career as an actor, he was a Green Beret Marine Commando in the 40s and 50s.

 

La maison fut construite sous Napoleon III vers 1850. A l'origine, la propriété était un pavillon de chasse. La maison est entourée d'un hectare de jardin au bord de la rivière Sainte-Marie. Avant de devenir un gite, la maison a appartenu à Pierre et Hella Brice. Pierre était un acteur français connu surtout pour son rôle de Winnetou dans les superproductions des années 60 ainsi qu’ aux festivals de Karl May des années 70 à 90.

 

Avant, il était Beret vert Commando Marine dans les années 40 et 50, luttant pour son pays.
